The Mercury Redstone was the vehicle that carried Alan Shepard into space on May 5, 1961.
This kit is a 1/13 scale model of the famous rocket. Designed to fly on "I" through "K" impulse, this kit offers dual deployment recovery, but can also be flown with conventional motor recovery.
The kit has a custom fiberglass nose cone, pre-glassed body tubes, scale detailed fins, 54mm motor mount, and comes rail guides.Standing over 6' tall, this rocket makes a great scale addition to the fleet.
